More official images

Hey guys, so as i said last post, i'm back mostly. in that it's thanksgiving break, i have 0 academic commitments today, so i can post here again finally! Hopefully you missed me. I'll try and post here as often as i can after fall break, but i cant guarantee anything as that three week period is a hug push for me with work. anyway, onto the commentary.

Linky linky: http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-generations-classics-30-35/reveal-the-shield-wave-2-and-generations-wave-6-official-images-170942/

OK so here we got official images of Transformers RTS (reveal the shield) wave 2 and generations wave 6 figures. We;vee seem most of these before, but why not commentate?

Lets brake ti down by character:

PErceptor: Been digging this guy for the moment i saw him the lower legs are still abit too chunky for me, but i am sill really diggin this guy and am not about to cancel my pre-order of him. say what you will about the alt mode and him not having a microscope mode, but reports surface very early on that the bunlk fo the influence for this toy was comign from TF: ANimated PErceptor's animation model and art in the Allspark Almanacs, so yea. I have no problems with him being a half track SUV. Oh and about the lack of paint apps in alt mode? i dont care, thats what gundam markers are for.

Wreck-Gar: Robot mode photo is at the top fo the link. I have really wanted a geeewunny Wreck-Gar ever since i got into TFs and thats why i'm so enthralled wiht this guy. HE's very much a win for me from his asymmetry down to the fact that he's a bike-former. Animated wreck gar never really did it for me, so yea. hreally happy to have this one on pr-order.

G2 Prime: the recent sentiment was expressed on the WTF at TFW podcast that the alt mode seems a bti cartoony and that the colors are weird. I totall see that. The fusion from the balck to the blue in alt mos is weird, as is the redness on the bumper. but i am all over that robot mode and that sword. this figure is pre-ordered. and I swear, if Hasbro doesnt do the obviodu repaint of this into Nemesis Prime, i'm gonna call shenanigans.

Classic bumblebee redeco: YEa i know its bumblebee, but lets face it, the Classics BB was one of the better iterations of the character in recent memory, plus, he actually doesnt look half bad with the movie-verse stripes on him. considering my disdain for Movie BB i may pick this classic iteration up the fill the small vehicle hole in my collection.

Scourge: I"m all over this robot mode, which is why i have him pre-ordered. dont get me wrong, i love the alt mode as well, i'm just worreid the white is gonna be reallly drab in person and that he's gonna need some panel line pickes out.

Kup: there's a hug demand for this toy, and i really want him so he's pre-ordered. Here's the thing though. I can see a lot of peopl not liking this based on the fact that this toy is not photographing well. Its a combination of the fact that every shot has him posed poorly or badly and the fact that the expression on the face can be either yelling or angry. I prefer angry myself and i dont mind the head sculpt, but the awkward posing is nto helping the figure in terms of pre-order appeal. Case in point, the photo thats the official shot at the link above. it honestly looks like Kup is that crotchety old transformer who is retired from service, has his owen place in Iacon and is yelling at the young transformers to get off his "lawn". It's not a flattering pose for the toy. The alt mode is awesome and think the demand for a Kup toy based off his character should outweigh both of the aforementioned negatives (it does for me), but we'll see.

Well thatsit for me guys.

Comment below, let the world know you thoughts.

I'll see you around the blogosphere
